HTMA has always correlated perfectly with client symptoms and the results they acquire. We are often able to predict symptoms experienced based upon the HTMA results. Below are examples of improvements and client HTMA results giving insights into their symptoms. Names are not disclosed for privacy.
Post Menopausal Entrepreneur (65):

Summary of Health Improvements for this client – 65 Post-Menopausal woman:
She is an entrepreneur and has high stress and a rushed lifestyle, but look at how her calcium and magnesium retention has improved with strategic nutrition and lifestyle adjustments. As well as the massively improved cobalt indicating less liver stress and inflammation.
The improvement in mineral levels and ratios have resulted in elimination of a lot of her chronic symptoms indicating a more balanced mineral profile, supporting overall health and well-being.
Minerals will improve and balance out as she continues to address her stress systematically. Her copper and hence iron metabolism will balance out as the adrenals are replenished and stress inputs are reduced even further.
I am so proud of this lady, she is not 100% there yet, but she is putting in the work every day and it shows!
Working, Breastfeeding Mom (42):

Summary of HTMA results: Working mom – 42, Breastfeeding – She is in a 4-high electrolyte pattern: Slow oxidation and exhaustion, alarm stage of stress where the minerals are wasted from the cell rapidly as the body tries to keep up with stress. Cobalt is extremely elevated which indicate towards inflammation and that the liver is stressed. She has a very stressful job that she does not enjoy and is very dependant on, which contributes to this pattern.
Breastfeeding imposes additional physiological demands on the body, including increased fluid requirements and the need for optimal electrolyte balance to support milk production and maternal health. The presence of the 4 Highs pattern during this period relates to increased stress, fatigue, depression and electrolyte imbalances – all of which she experiences.
The Ca/K ratio indicates that her body is in overdrive and her Na/K ratio, the vitality ratio is extremely low, which supports her feeling out of touch and just constantly in a state of chronic stress and low vitality.
Entrepreneur Mom (42):

Summary of Health Improvements for this 42 year old Entrepreneur & Mom: Blood Sugar symptoms improved dramatically – reactive hypoglycaemia in the mornings went away, debilitating hormonal histamine reactions have improved dramatically, much better capacity and resilience to stress.
Circadian rhythm is starting to sync as she is having more deep sleep. No more afternoon naps needed!!
Copper and Iron metabolism still need work via adrenal support and habits! She is still in adrenal burn-out (and 4-lows), but ratio improvement indicate that they are becoming stronger steadily. A stubborn K of 1 indicates sympathetic dominance and that there might be emotional work to do.
No more anxiety, mood is stable.
Entrepreneur Mom (41):

Summary of Health Improvements for this 41 year old Entrepreneur & Mom: A major improvement in intracellular Magnesium.
She was in a fight-flight alarm stage of stress as seen on the 1st HTMA, which is settling down displaying the actual chronic exhaustion of the system, but into better balance.
She is suffering with a large heavy metal load – high uranium, lead and mercury which is adding stress to her system.
Low vitality – but her vitality ratio have improved from 0.05 on the 1st test to 0.75 to the 2nd test.
Her thyroid was also in a hyperthyroid state, which has settled down into a more balanced state cellularly.
More work is required in terms of habits to bring her system into a better balanced and less chronic stress state so that she can start to detox the metals that is hindering progress.
Working Mom (36):

Summary of HTMA results: Working mom – 36, High stress – She is burning through Magnesium rapidly. Calcium is also not being retained intracellularly and a calcium shell is forming, which means that the calcium is being deposited in soft tissue and not ushered into the bones where it belongs. She is in a sympathetic dominant state and adrenals are in a state of chronic stress. She also struggles with iron metabolism issues and her low ferritin on bloodwork is confirming this. Low stomach acid is also very clear, contributing to IBS gut issues.
She experiences jitteriness during the day, which is confirmed with the Ca/Mg ratio imbalance. She is also in a hypothyroid and adrenal burn-out state, which is resulting in fatigue. A high cobalt indicating liver stress and this supports that she is struggling with iron recycling. Other symptoms: inability to gain weight and SIBO. All in all an imbalanced state and the results confirm the symptoms she is experiencing.
Male (43):

Summary of HTMA results: This is actually my husband’s HTMA (shared with permission) as he was coming out of severe B-deficiency which was caused by chronic stress and poor lifestyle habits. I am sharing this because his story is proof of the power of our habits! In his first test he was burning through Magnesium and Potassium rapidly with an extreme cobalt, showing that there was too much unmitigated stress on his system – which you can see stabilises in the updated test. (although some of the minerals are lower, it happens when the body is coming back into balance. It’s the mineral ratio’s that are most important). His digestion was severely affected (low P, Na and Zn confirms) which improved on the 2nd test. His symptoms was debilitating. His blood and body’s PH (confirmed with functional bloodwork) was imbalanced, he had severe brain fog, pins and needles and numbness in his limbs, he felt terrible and like he was going to “crash”. With his high cobalt we figured out that it was a B-deficiency, specifically B1 and B12 that was the main culprits for the symptoms experienced. His bloodwork B12 was actually in range – and this is where an HTMA can be a powerful tool. Iron regulation (via liver) was also severely affected, confirmed with functional bloodwork.
He was forced to use Methyl-cobalamin B12 injections temporarily to feel stable. He worked hard to make TWEAKS to how he was living. Fast forward to today, NO supplements, no injections, no medication and he is flourishing! The only things he changed was key habitual inputs to bring safety back into the body so that the energy expense does not exceed the inputs and so that the body systems can signal properly. And THAT is how powerful the human body is when we honour it’s rhythms.
More client tests - short summaries:

Summary of HTMA results: The main issues here are the Magnesium burn rate and stress on the adrenals, hence on the liver and digestive system (low phosphorus, sodium and zinc) and low mineral levels, which indicates that the nervous system is in overdrive due to unmitigated stress, resulting in low stomach acid and digestive issues.
This client have reported resolution of GI symptoms when proper habits are followed.

Summary of HTMA results: The main issues here are the Magnesium burn rate indicates that the nervous system is in overdrive due to unmitigated stressors, which also drives up the calcium. This client is focusing on habits to enhance nervous system and emotional regulation, so that we can bring down the magnesium burn and calcium to rebalance to avoid a calcium shell forming.

Summary of HTMA results: The main issues here are the Magnesium and Sodium burn rate indicates that the nervous system is in overdrive due to unmitigated stressors. This client is focusing on habits to enhance nervous system and emotional regulation, so that we can bring down the magnesium and sodium burn. She also does not consume enough animal protein, which is evident in the low Phosphorus.
